With a Flexible Premium Annuity, you can start your annuity with an initial payment of $1,000. Additional annual payments of $100 or more can be made to build your Flexible Annuity.

Polish National Union of America Tax-Deferred annuities are no-load contracts, which means that all your money receives interest from the date of issue. This interest is received at the current interest rate, as established by Board of Directors of the Polish National Union of America.

Interest rate may vary on an annual basis with a 3% guaranteed minimum. Check with your Branch Secretary or the Polish National Union of America office for the current interest rate.

Tax Information

Annuities are tax-deferred, not tax-free. This means that taxes must be paid on the interest once money is taken out. As with all annuities, interest is taxable when received and interest received prior to age 59 1/2 will be subject to an IRS penalty.

However, surrender charges do apply for surrenders or withdrawals made during the first five contract years.
